We are looking for a Chief Development Engineer to join Sustainability and Analytics team in Core Technology

The Core Technology team of Konecranes develops and supports solutions for all our business areas. Our deliverables cover sustainability, automation, human-machine-Interfaces, embedded electronics, motor controls, inverter technologies and asset intelligence development. Our core competence is business-relevant product expertise, where software, algorithms, analytics and connectivity meet sensor- and control technology.

We are looking for a Chief Development Engineer, to join Sustainability and Analytics team in Core Technology. The position is remote or located in Hyvinkää, based on your situation.

You will be responsible – together with your colleagues, business stakeholders and data science experts – for analyses mainly related to the reliability and performance of lifting equipment and their maintenance. You are expected to have a significant role in planning and developing methods for analytics and roadmaps in your area of responsibility.

– Master’s degree in a related field (e.g. machine engineering, electrical engineering)
– Knowledge of lifting equipment, their components, functionality and automation would be beneficial
– Experience in data analytics
– Self-driven working style and analytical thinking
– Excellent social skills and team working abilities
– Good English language skills, written and oral, other languages will be an advantage
– Willingness to learn
