We are looking for a Software Engineer to develop new Konecranes digital services and solutions

You will participate in all stages of software development and operational process: service concepting, technical solution architecture, MVP development, scaling-up, testing, security, and operations.

The Digital Experience Platform is part of the larger Digital Center of Excellence (Digital CoE) unit, responsible for the development and delivery of Konecranes Industrial Internet Platform, Content Delivery platform, Data science solutions, RPA solutions as well as Digital solutions that serve both our customers and business processes. Konecranes Industrial Internet connects, gathers, analyses, and presents data from Konecranes-built equipment and the global field service IT system. Our Digital solutions include a multitude of web and mobile applications all built on the latest software engineering solutions and address the key needs of our customers and businesses.

– Software design, engineering, and development of new digital services for Konecranes using modern programming languages and cloud platforms
– Development of technical specifications, breakdowns, and plans
– Make good architectural decisions that provide solutions to business challenges and can be utilized as reusable components in – Konecranes digital platform
– Implementing various testing practices e.g., Unit testing, Systems tests, Automated tests, Security tests
– Communicate effectively and professionally in all forms of communication with internal and external customers

– Suitable education, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree level preferably in computer science
– Experience in software development in cloud environments and with native cloud services (AWS)
– Serverless development on AWS
– API development and publishing across Cloud platforms
– DevOps process and development environments some of the programming technologies listed: Node.js, Java, Angular, React, React Native
– Good understanding of the testing practices: TDD, BDD, Data-driven testing
– An agile mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills while using good judgment
– Capability to lead, inspire, coach, and motivate others
– Willingness to learn
– Experience with other cloud platforms e.g. Azure, Google is an advantage
